I was born and raised in Nacogdoches at FCC. My grandpa was the pastor at FCC for many years and my parents met and were married at the church. I came to saving faith in Christ during my time in youth group and was given the opportunity to be the youth Intern from 2018-2020 while in college at SFA.
I left Nac for a teaching and coaching position while also pursuing a master’s degree from LSU-Shreveport. During this time, I knew the Lord had called me to ministry, but I wasn’t sure what that would look like for me. Thankfully, God can do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, and in June of 2022, I started working as a representative for Compassion International, a ministry working to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. This allowed me to move back to Nac where I also took the role of Interim Youth Director.
I have a heart for students and love building relationships with them, sharing Christ with them, and beating them at ping-pong.
